Family Court Mediation
With our team of dedicated spiritual leaders, counselors, and family law specialists, HBF works to mediate and settle family court cases benevolently.
In a relentless cycle, the court system continues to show that it does not support healthy black families. Child support cases often end in Black fathers being disenfranchised and custody cases often result in single-mother households. HBF is dedicated to pulling families from harmful court decisions into a community of counselors, family law attorneys, and spiritual leaders. Whether there needs to be a determination of custody, child-support, or reconciliation, HBF and its volunteer professionals will act as a council to the family. This personalized council will work to build conflict-resolution skills, implement healthy family practices, and hold each member of the family (man, woman, and child) accountable for their part in maintaining a healthy Black family.
